The Blacklist
Red (James Spader) outs an imposter in episode 11 of "The Blacklist" Season 3. NBC

Liz Keen (Megan Boone) is no longer an FBI agent, but that does not mean she is done working cases — she just has a new boss! In episode 11 of "The Blacklist" Season 3, "Mr. Gregory Devry," Liz did not have much time to adjust to her newfound freedom. Now that her name has been cleared of allegations of terrorism, Red (James Spader) has her helping him out a dangerous imposter.

Red scoffs at the idea of Liz taking some time off to relax after her fugitive ordeal with the Cabal. Instead, he recruits her to help him bring down a another secret crime organization — did we not just finish with the Cabal? This time, the group Red is talking about, Shell Island, is a secret meeting of the leaders of the world's biggest crime syndicates. Red used to run the group as their accountant, but now one of the members had some of Red's contractors killed. He wants to find out why, but Liz just seems excited to be doing something other than running.

However, life as an FBI asset is not as satisfying as life as an agent. When she visits the FBI black site she gets hit with a tough dose of reality. She can not participate in field missions and she can not even keep her gun. Plus, when she applies for a new apartment, she gets turned down when the realtor gets spooked at the sight of the name of an alleged terrorist on the application.

At least she has Tom (Ryan Eggold)! She pays her ex-husband a visit and after all he did to clear her name, he is awfully excited to see her. In fact, he drops down on one knee and proposes to her with a metal washer. Liz tells him to stand back up.

"If I learned one thing the past few months, it's that I can tell you what I'm going to want 10 from years now, says Liz. I just know what I want right now."

Needless to say, things get a little hot and heavy on Tom's boat — after a pretty slickly filmed sex scene, the show makes an abrupt cut to Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) who is breaking down the door of a man Red says can tell the FBI where the next Shell Island meeting will be held. However, when they slap on the cuffs, the man (Jake Weber) says his name Raymond Reddington. Surprise!

For some reason, Liz is still allowed to interrogate high level FBI prisoners, so they let her talk to the mystery prisoner. He has loads of confidential data about Red's blacklisters and even the skinny on some confidential missions involving Cooper (Harry Lennix). While nobody trusts him, he does reveal the location of the next Shell Island meeting.

Later, Liz and Red discuss her future. She has doubts about whether she wants to continue working for Red. He says she has no choice. Her Cabal debacle resurrected the Caterina Rostova name among Cabal associates and they plan to silence Liz, whether she knows anything about the shadow organization or not. Red and Liz can not stop until the dismantle the entire Cabal!

Meanwhile, the FBI puts a wire on imposter Red and sends him to the Shell meeting. However, when the mole gets to the meeting, the FBI is surprised to find that Red is leading the secret pow-wow. It turns out Red arranged the whole imposter thing to prove to the Shell Island group, which he is still running, that he was not an FBI informant — his assistance to Liz while she was a fugitive started rumors. Red kills one of the Shell Island bosses who had tried to out him and shoots the imposter, Gregory Devry, a friend of Red's who had terminal cancer.

In the episode's final moments, Red meets with Tom and orders him not to marry Liz, but that might get complicated.

Liz got some good news at the end of the episode and not just about her apartment — Although, that realtor did call back and change her mind. After getting beat up by a man at a grocery store parking lot who still thought Liz was a terrorist from the news, she wakes up in a hospital to a doctor with a big surprise.

"The baby is fine!"

It looks like Liz and Tom need to have a talk.

"The Blacklist" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
