The red carpet event of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremonies held on Wednesday in France was filled with beautiful stars in stunning fashion ensembles. Some of these celebrities included Blake Lively, Bella Hadid and Victoria Beckham who showed off their glamorous and chic looks during the event.

Lively wowed fans and critics when she appeared during the Cannes 2016 red carpet event in a glittery Atelier Versace dress, Us Weekly magazine reported. The actress’ beaded gown also featured a nude colored peek-a-boo slash design. She partnered her dress with metallic silver sandals and Lorraine Schwatz earrings.

The former “Gossip Girl” actress attended the star-studded event to promote her latest film “Cafe Society.” Apart from Lively, the film’s director and writer Woody Allen, as well as other cast members such as Corey Stall and Kirsten Stewart were also at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

Lively also showed off her growing baby bump during the Cannes 2016. The actress is pregnant with her and “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynold’s second child. The Hollywood couple already share a 16-month old daughter together. Lively gave birth to daughter James Reynold in December 2014.

Other actresses, who looked stunning and chic on the said event’s red carpet, included Victoria Beckham and Bella Hadid, Entertainment Tonight reported. The former “Spice Girls” looked chic in a bustier and black trouser ensemble. The said pieces are reportedly from Beckham’s own fall/winter 2016 collection. She also kept her red carpet look simple, with pointy toe black heels and a striking diamond bracelet.

Meanwhile, Hadid looked glamorous during the 2016 Cannes Film Festival red carpet event. The model wore a silk tulle Cavalli Couture dress. The skin-toned sleeveless gown featured an intricate lace design embroidered with crystal pieces. The dress also showed off a lot of Hadid’s skin with its plunging neckline that almost reached the model’s navel. She partnered her elegant dress with a glittery necklace and a statement bracelet.
