Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Stir Up Marriage Rumors After Catching The Bouquet At A Friend's Wedding

If superstition is any indication, it looks like the relationship between musicians Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani is about to get a lot more intense. After attending a friend’s wedding together, Stefani reportedly got people talking after she caught the bride's bouquet, prompting marriage speculation from fans.

For those not familiar with the wedding tradition, the bride throws her bouquet of flowers into a crowd of attendees behind her. The idea is that whoever catches aforementioned bouquet will be the next person in the friend group to find herself at the altar in a pretty white dress.

According to People, Stefani and Shelton attended the wedding of the 39-year-old country singer’s hairstylist, Amanda Craig, Jan. 8. When the time came for the big toss, a source tells the outlet that Stefani snagged it… kind of. Apparently, the real story is that Shelton wasn’t paying enough attention and got hit in the head with the flowers. Stefani quickly snatched the bouquet up off the floor, which apparently still counts as a catch.

Following their respective divorces last year, the coaches on NBC’s “The Voice” confirmed their relationship in November and have been making a splash in the music community ever since, teasing fans with public outings as well as flirty social media exchanges. In fact, the couple was seen in Nashville, Tennessee, getting very cozy together in a local restaurant the day before the wedding. Although E! Online reports that no one seemed to bother them on their date, many fans took to Twitter and other social media in order to share their excitement about seeing music’s hottest new couple expressing some PDA.

While the couple seems to be having a great time together, their inability to explore their romance outside the public eye is clearly taking a toll. On Monday, Shelton took to Twitter to lash out against some fans on social media that were apparently having trouble not prying into the singer’s personal life. Still, despite somewhat intrusive fans, it looks like Shelton and Stefani are continuing to take major steps forward in their relationship. However, only time will tell if the bouquet predictions are correct.
