Blake Shelton has moved on from Miranda Lambert split and readjusting to single life, according to media reports.

In the latest issue of People magazine, a source who is a close friend of the country singer told the magazine that Shelton has moved forward with his life and is back in a positive place. The insider said that “The Voice” coach was upset during the break-up, however, Shelton is not the type of person who would dwell too much on a situation.

“He's not someone to sit around and lick his wounds," explained the source. "He's about moving forward and not looking in the rearview mirror."

The insider also went on to say how Shelton has "bounced back quickly" from the divorce and that he’s "doing so well" now, even describing the country singer as “the life of the party." Apart from that, Shelton’s close friend also mentioned how the separation has provided a "silver lining" for the "Honey Bee" crooner.

"He has the time to take care of himself," said the source. "He's taken positive steps in his life to spend time with friends and family."

One of the things that helped Shelton to move forward was spending time with other “The Voice” coaches, according to the source. "Everyone wants to hang out with him. He's been upbeat and enjoying his time with the coaches," the insider told People. "They are a tight-knit group."

Meanwhile, Shelton took to Twitter Wednesday to post a series of messages regarding various reports on what he’s been doing since his separation from Lambert. He wrote, "The stuff I read about myself blows my mind. Shouldn't I get to do all these things since I'm already accused of them?" The country singer also added the hashtag "doublejeopardy" to his post.

"The Voice" coach then followed it up with a Twitter message that stated how he just got back from far northern Quebec after "chasing caribou," only to read "all the crazy stuff" he was reported to be doing. Shelton ended his Twitter rant with a challenge, which read, "Just watch and see how these tweets I just sent get spun... Son of a b----!!!! This calls for a drink."

Shelton and Lambert announced their split in July, after four years of marriage.
