Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have decided to pull the plug on their four-year marriage. There have been rumors that “The Voice” coach has been cheating on Lambert, which reportedly led to problems in their relationship. But source tells People he never was unfaithful.

“Blake is just that incredibly loyal and dedicated husband. I can guarantee you he has been faithful to that woman,” said the source. The source also added that Shelton has never “cheated” on Lambert. The country singer has been linked to various “Voice” contestants in the past, but no such rumors were confirmed.

In one of his previous interviews, Shelton said he gives his wife access to his mobile and computer as he does not have any secrets. “That's really the kind of trust we have. There are no secrets. [I'll say], 'Go dig through my drawers or my computer if you feel like you need to,” he said to the website.

The official reason for the couple’s separation is not known, and they have asked for privacy as they go through the divorce proceedings. They said in an official statement that this is not how they thought their marriage would turn out. They also added that they are separating with “heavy hearts” and would like compassion as this is their personal matter.

The two got married in Lambert's native Texas in May 2011. They dated for six years beforehand, but did not spend much time with each other after marriage due their busy music schedules. They reportedly spent only 150 days together in their first 18 months of wedlock. Shelton previously was married to Kaynette Williams. He divorced her in 2006.
