‘Blindspot’
Roman (Luke Mitchell) is getting his memory back slowly in "Blindspot" Season 2. NBC

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 11 opens with an anguished Roman (Luke Mitchell) recalling only a single memory from his time at the orphanage. After Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) erased her brother’s memory, Roman now only remembers when he was locked in a room and unable to free himself. The only way for him to get out was if he would kill his rabbit.

Aside from Roman, majority of the episode revolved around Jane Doe, Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), Nas (Archie Panjabi) and the rest of the team stopping a terrorist attack from taking place. The criminals responsible for planting bombs are revealed to be Europeans. Patterson (Ashley Johnson) soon discover that one of them is Anton Stepulov, a member of a terrorist organization that their team has encountered in the past.

Anton is joined by a teenager whose identity wasn’t revealed until the end of “Droll Autumn, Unmutual Lord.” Anton also gives a woman named Arlene Turner $250,000 to plant a bomb somewhere in the city. When the FBI brings Arlene in for questioning, they discover that she accepted the money because her brother, Paul, was dying on a hospital bed. However, Arlene never saw Paul’s body, so it becomes clear that she was tricked by Anton and the other terrorists.

Back at the FBI headquarters, Nas brings in a special psychiatrist to help Roman recover some of his memories. At first, Jane is hesitant to allow Roman to recover his memories, but she later on agrees. Roman then remembers another incident at the orphanage of him killing another child. After his session with Dr. Karen ends, Jane is told that Roman should be isolated from other people for the rest of his life.

In the end, the team succeeds in stopping the terrorists from attacking the city. But more mysteries surrounding Roman pop up. He and a woman named Kat Jarrett, who also happens to be a member of the biker gang Viper King, had dealings with each other in the past. But how this relates to the mysterious organization Sandstorm will only be revealed in future episodes.

“Blindspot” Season 2 airs every Wednesday 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
