‘Blindspot’
How long will Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) be together in “Blindspot” Season 3? NBC

“Blindspot” Season 3 just dropped a new teaser for its upcoming premiere, which shows Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) awkwardly flirting with each other.

The two-minute clip opens with Jane getting a surprise visit from Kurt. It’s been a couple of months since the two characters last saw each other. Jane is happy to finally reunite with Kurt, but the two immediately start activating Jane’s tattoos that are now colorful, more graphic and digital.

In the next scene, the two are at a party, and they can’t seem to take their eyes off each other. Jane asks Kurt to look at the view, and he replies by saying that he’s already looking at it while staring straight into Jane’s eyes. Zapata (Audrey Esparza), who now works for the CIA, tells the couple that she could hear everything that they are saying.

Elsewhere in the clip, Kurt tells Jane how much things have changed within the past couple of months. Reade (Rob Brown) is working with an unnamed woman; Patterson is no longer just working codes and clues; and the team has employed the help of the once villainous character Rich Dotcom (Ennis Emer). He and Patterson also have a very close relationship.

Meanwhile, Jane’s brother, Roman (Luke Mitchell), will be embracing his dark side in the upcoming episodes of the hit NBC TV series. In the clip, Roman gives Jane a call and tells her something about her tattoos. Jane panics and when she turns around, she sees Roman standing just a few feet away from her.

When Jane tries to run after her brother, he immediately buries himself in the huge crowd. Kurt manages to track Roman down and sees that he’s riding a boat. He jumps into the boat, and almost drowns in the deep waters. In the next scene, Jane, Kurt and the rest of their team are figuring out what Roman’s motives are.

In Season 2, Roman felt betrayed when Jane decided to choose Kurt and their team over him. According to executive producer Martin Gero, Roman will be Season 3’s big bad.

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EDT.
