A thirty-year-old aspiring model committed
suicide by hanging himself from the monkey bars at a Brooklyn playground early
Friday morning in New York.
Paul Zolezzi, a part-time model and heroin
addict, used the social-networking site to announce that he would kill himself.
He wrote a short goodbye in his Facebook
status box to his family and friends that read: "Born in San Francisco,
became a shooting star over everywhere, and ended his life in Brooklyn...And
couldn't have asked for more."
Rather than leave a personal note for someone
to find after his death, Zolezzi chose to post it as his Facebook status.
RIP Paul Zolezzi.
