OnStar Turn-By-Turn Is Free On Friday (To Current Subscribers)

Remember when HBO and Cinemax used to offer free weekends, just to show non-subscribers what they were missing? Well, General Motors' OnStar has taken half a page from that playbook: this Friday, OnStar will provide free turn-by-turn navigation -- but only to current subscribers. Presumably, the goal is to get folks enrolled at OnStar's Safe & Sound level to shell out an extra $100 for the Directions & Connections plan.
