Lady Gaga - or Stefani Germanotta - appears here in this rare video of her performing at a club in 2006, before her super unique outfits and music kicked off to Billboard-topping success.
The Bad Romance singer seems almost unrecognizable as she performs a cover version of "D'yer Maker" Led Zeppelin at the Bitter End in her native New York City. She appears wearing pants (shocker) and with what appears to be her real brownish-black hair -- a contrast to her colorful wigs and hairpieces.
Her backup band features Calvin Pia of Akudama on guitar, Alex Beckmann of Mem on drums, and Eli Silverman on bass.
