With the way things are looking now for the economy, some are even comparing it to the Great Depression of the 1930s.

In a bid to help us all out in this hard times, Clara Cannucciari, a 93-year-old Sicilian great-grandmother and host of her own online cooking show, is teaching viewers how to cook delicious meals, even if you on a tight budget.

She's so good; she claims to have gained weight during the Great Depression, according to her blog.

She grew up in the Great Depression helping her mother prepare inexpensive yet delicious meals during one of the most difficult times in American History

Clara has teamed up with filmmaker Christopher Cannucciari to create her own online cooking show through YouTube which is ironically titled “Great Depression Cooking With Clara.”

Below are the first three episodes where she teaches us how to make:
  Episode 1: Pasta with Peas

  Episode 2: Egg Drop Soup

  Episode 3: Poorman's Meal
