With a great performance of The National Anthem at the Super Bowl and a Grammy Award on her shelf, Jennifer Hudson has made her comeback after the family tragedy she was involved in past October.
Joining Oprah Winfrey's couch on Friday's life episode, the Grammy and Oscar winner told Winfrey that singing feels "like therapy" for her, despite all the nerves that might had came along with performing on stage at probably the biggest television event of the year.
"I'm good," she said. "I'm really good. I'm just glad to be back and be back to working and just doing what I love to do...I'm in a very good place." She also added that winning a Grammy for best R&B album that was handed to her by Witney Houston, had "almost surpassed" winning the award. "As soon as she stepped out on the stage, I lost it. That's when I got emotional," said the 27-year-old singer.
The former American Idol contestant sang by the end of the show her latest single "If This Isn't Love," but avoid making any specific remarks about the recent murders in her family.
