Optimal Group Inc. (NASDAQ: OPMR) announced that it has entered into a support agreement with a corporation established by Richard Yanofsky, President of WowWee Canada Inc., and Peter Yanofsky, President of WowWee USA, Inc., for the purpose of making an offer to acquire, by way of a take-over bid to Optimal Group shareholders, all of the outstanding Class “A” shares of the Company, including shares issuable upon the conversion, exchange or exercise of options and warrants, at a price of US$2.40 per share in cash. The stock closed at $2.34, up 46.31%, on 687,022 traded shares.

Abraxis BioScience, Inc. (NASDAQ:ABII) announced that its randomized registrational Phase 3 clinical trial comparing ABRAXANE® (protein-bound paclitaxel) with Taxol® (paclitaxel) injection, both in combination with carboplatin, met the study’s primary endpoint by demonstrating that ABRAXANE showed a significant improvement in overall response rate as compared to Taxol, in the first-line treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), as assessed by independent radiologist review. The stock closed at $52.00, up 30.49%, on 508,234 traded shares.

Document Security Systems, Inc. (NYSE Amex: DMC) was pleased to announce today that it has been issued nine new patents covering seven European Countries and Canada.
