'Bachelor' Jason Mesnick visits Molly and still together

Nearly a month after the shocking and controversial end to this season "The Bachelor," how are Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney doing?

"Molly and I are happy," Jason tell People magazine.

During the past month the couple has spent time getting to know each other off-camera. Recently Jason flew to visit Molly at her hometown near Milwaukee.

"I've learned new terminology," Jason says, laughing at the common expression for barbecuing. "It's normal, right, to say 'grilling out'?" Molly replies with a smile.

The couple's biggest challenge so far is the distance between them. Since Molly used most of her vacation days around the time of "The Bachelor" finale, she hasn't spent much time with Jason's 4-year-old son, Ty.
