Twitter's Biz Stone on Colbert Report: Discusses Google revenue model (VIDEO)

If speculations are to be believed, Google, the search engine giant is in advanced talks to takeover popular micro-blogging site - Twitter.

TechCrunch reports two separate sources claiming that Google is in the "late stages" of a deal to buy Twitter, while another says that the buy out is at a much earlier stage.

Meanwhile, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone was interviewed by Stephen Colbert last night on the Comedy Central cable television show.

Stone compared Twitter's work philosophy to Google's. "We are looking to become a strong profitable company however before that we want to improve the value that we offer. Once we reach a certain level we will look at the revenue. We will start experimenting with a revenue model sometime this year. This is not unlike the way Google approach their revenue," he said.

Could Stone be suggesting something here?
