Susan Boyle soars to fame on YouTube

YouTube latest video viral is of Susan Boyle, whose performance on British TV show Britain’s Got Talent made her the video sharing site’s biggest sensation to date.

Boyle's fame did not stop there after she became the subject of a sketch on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night.

For the British reality show, the web is still seen as a marketing channel for the main event; even though Boyle’s viewing figures on TV were a lot lower than on the web.

The 47-year-old singer that has gone from obscurity to worldwide fame in less than a week, also appeared on  Larry King Live on Friday where she sang ‘My Heart Will Go On‘ by Celine Dion.

“Amazing, that was just absolutely stunning,” said “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan, who was also a guest. “To sing that with no musical backing is unbelievable. You have the voice of an angel, Susan.”
