The Hangover movie reviews and trailer
"The Hangover", the latest from director Todd Phillip, explores the little-seen aftermath of such an event. A bachelor party so wild, so debaucherous, so legendary, that the male participants can't remember any of it. When they wake up with guess what… hangovers, their hotel room is trashed and the groom himself is missing.

Here’s what the movie critics are saying -
Screen Daily -
“Proudly inappropriate and buoyed by both a clever script and some obvious chemistry between the film’s male leads… The Hangover is structured like a humourous mystery…it offers a tight storyline, resulting in a rare comedy with a potent dramatic engine. …while the ultimate outcome doesn’t live up to the setup’s potential, the journey is sufficiently rewarding.â€
Hollywood Reporter -
“a piercingly funny, twisted ‘whatever-happens-in-Vegas’ caper that can’t be faulted for not taking full advantage of its R rating. …a surefire breakout turn by Zach Galifianakis, in the same way Will Ferrell busted out after his fearless turn in Old School.â€
Variety -
“Ken Jeong makes the absolute most of his limited screen time as an effete antagonist whose mincing trash talk likely will be quoted extensively by the pic’s fans. …Cinematography does an excellent job of subtly enhancing the sense of danger lying just below the comic surface.â€
Dean E.
“The Hangover†is a worthy entrant into the “guy movie†hall of fame. It’s got laughs, drugs, tomfoolery, bodily harm, strippers, and a Mike Tyson cameo. The movie is about a trip to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, and the events of which are recounted as the characters sober up, and look into payday loans to cover the money they spent. Films detailing "lost weekends" spent in Sin City are becoming a genre unto themselves, as the town is noted for a touch of Bacchanalian excess, with tradition extending before Hunter Thompsons' landmark novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Still, there ought to be plenty of payday cash for the producers if receipts match “The Hangover" reviews.
