The lawsuits scheme enlarges on the plane crash matters that seriously injured DJ AM ( Adam Goldstein) and Travis Barker and killed other four passengers of the September 19 flight. While the owner and the operator of the jet filled charges against the tire company and the company that designed the jet for more than $12 million, DJ AM and Travis Barker have their own people to blame. The proceedings for the lawsuit were filed in South Carolina where Inter Travel & Services (the owner) and Global Exec Aviation (the operator) have placed blame on the "defective" jet and the "defective" runway at Columbia Metro Airport. Barker's attorney already set charges against Learjet, the company that projected the plane and Goodyear.
DJ AM added to his list Inter Travel and Global. In spite of the rumours, the two musicians didn't sue the states of the plane's co-pilots who have died in the accident. "I would never sue the deceased pilots' estates or personal holdings. I am more than grateful that I survived this horrible accident and I'd never try to take anything from those that didn't, " DJ AM posted on his blog in December. National Transportation Safety Board still investigates the causes that may led to the crash.
