Internal Bleeding ‘Could Kill’ Michael Jackson, Author Says

Michael Jackson has chronic gastrointestinal bleeding which his doctors can’t stop, author Ian Halperin told In Touch Weekly.

Halperin, who has previously written unauthorized biographies about celebrities and has just finished a book on Jackson, says the singer suffers from a condition known as Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency.

“He’s had it for years, but it’s gotten worse,” Halperin says. He also claims the pop star needs a lung transplant and has emphysema.

“It’s the [gastrointestinal] bleeding that is the most problematic part. It could kill him,” he says.

He also claim Jackson has lost nearly all his vision in his left eye.

Jacksons’ representative was not available for comment.
