James Franco Skips Oscar Party After His Hosting Performance Sucked!

James Franco reportedly skipped his own Oscar bash after being slammed for his badhosting skills. Franco had planned to throw an exclusive party at the Supper Club after the ceremony but instead left Los Angeles asap. Sources say the party ended up being a complete bust! Franco took to his twitter account to explain his absence, claiming he had to return to classes (he is studying at both Yale and New York University).
He wrote: "Goodbye L.A.. It was fun! Time to head back to class."
The Hollywood Reporter had slammed the star as seeming "distant" and "uninterested" in proceedings at the event at the Kodak Theatre last night. Writer Tim Franco said:
"Anne Hathaway at least tried to sing and dance and preen along to the goings on, but Franco seemed distant, uninterested and content to keep his Cheshire-cat-meets-smug smile on display throughout.
"What was the point, Academy? What did Franco bring to the table? His appearance played more like one of his performance art pieces than an actual attempt to be host.
"A bad and risky idea, letting two actors host, proved out in spectacularly unwatchable fashion on the biggest of all nights for the film world."
What did you think of James Franco as host? I would have to agree with the critics on this one, he didn't bring anything to the table!

Charlie Sheen's Publicist Quits!

Charlie Sheen's long-term publicist Stan Rosenfield confirmed to Us Weekly that he's no longer working for the troubled actor.
"I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much," Rosenfield said. "However, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned."
A few other rants came earlier today when TMZ.com interviewed Sheen from the backyard of his L.A. mansion. Here are some highlights:
-Sheen, 45, suggested that Rosenfield had lied on his behalf when he issued a statement saying the actor had had an allergic reaction and that was why he ransacked a NYC hotel room back in October.
"I was asleep when that statement went out," the Two and Half Men star said. "I respect Stan, he was doing the best he could at the moment. Had I confirmed with him, I probably would have come up with something better."
-Sheen “hopes” his 5 kids ask him about all of the drug use one day … so he can fill them in on all of the “epic” stories.
-Sheen also explained that his father, Martin Sheen, should stop passing judgment, because Charlie’s a grown ass man ... and can make his own life choices.
Charlie also told a story about how he woke up in the middle of downtown L.A. by himself when he was 7 years old … and had to find his own way home.
I think it is time for Charlie to shut his mouth and seek help during his time off of work!
