Bobbi Kristina Brown’s relationship with Nick Gordon has been questioned plenty over the last several months, but one person is defending their relationship. The couple’s neighbor, Debbie Brooks, revealed that they were a “very passionate” couple.

“They were very lovey-dovey,” Brooks told People. “I will say that they loved each other very much. They had a very passionate relationship.”

While Brooks didn’t comment on the allegations of domestic violence, drug abuse or stealing, she noted that their relationship may have been on the dramatic side. “Their relationship was fast and furious. He was her life support; she was his,” Brooks explained.

Recent reports have indicated that Gordon seems to be struggling with the death of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s daughter. The 22-year-old was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 and remained unconscious until her death on July 26. Since she died, Gordon has been spotted wearing the engagement ring he gave to her.

However, reports of their loving relationship and romantic gestures aren’t stopping the Bobbi Kristina’s family from taking legal action against Gordon, 25. Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon on her behalf. The papers accuse Gordon of physically assaulting Bobbi Kristina and taking thousands of dollars from her bank account, according to Us Weekly. Those might not be the only charges Gordon faces. TMZ reports that the district attorney is considering manslaughter charges.

Accusations reportedly haven’t stopped Gordon from trying to say goodbye to his late girlfriend. He wrote an email to Bobby and Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, asking to attend the funeral. “I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye,” Gordon wrote, TMZ reports. “Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.” He wasn’t seen at the first funeral service on Aug. 1 in Georgia, according to Entertainment Tonight, but he could possibly show up on Aug. 3 for the late aspiring singer's burial in New Jersey.
