Relatives of Bobbi Kristina Brown are claiming that the hospitalized aspiring singer is improving. The update comes after reports that the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston would be removed from life support on Feb. 11, the same day that Houston died in 2012.

Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and the president of her estate, released the following message on Wednesday:

“On this – the third anniversary of Whitney’s passing, our family continues to stand together praying that Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life. We thank you again for your continued prayers of love and restoration and we thank you for respecting the family’s privacy at this time.”

While Pat Houston remained mum on her niece’s health, a relative on Bobby Brown’s side, Leolah Brown, told Fox 5 Atlanta that her niece is “doing well.” According to the relative, Bobbi Kristina is “moving her eyes.” Doctors reportedly told the family that she is showing signs of “improving.”

“We know that she’s opening her eyes, that true,” Brown continued. “There’s a few more things that she’s doing. Krissi is doing well right now.”

Bobbi Kristina, 21, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Jan. 31. Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, provided CPR before the police arrived at the scene. Since the incident, Bobbi Kristina has remained hospitalized at Emory University Hospital. Reports claimed that she was placed in a medically induced coma due to brain swelling. A criminal investigation into the incident is underway.
