Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown was arrested Monday in Atlanta after he was pulled over by an officer who detected “the odor of marijuana” emitting from the vehicle. The news comes at a time when the “reality” of Bobbi Kristina’s condition is “sinking in” for the family.

Jerod reportedly told the officer that he had a Georgia license but did not have it with him at the time. He falsely represented himself to the police, saying that his name was Jahraim Wallace Reid, RadarOnline reported, adding that officers later determined that his name was Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter. Jerod, who denied the presence of drugs in his vehicle, was arrested on charges of driving without a license. He also reportedly had an active warrant out of Gwinnett County, Georgia, stemming from an earlier arrest.

Jerod has actively spoken out about his sister’s condition in the past, holding his aunt Pat Houston responsible. Jerod also debuted his new single "#PrayForBK" last week, which was accompanied by a music video. In the new album, the 27-year-old, who goes by the stage name YF Kennedy, sings about the love he has for Bobbi Kristina.

Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31. In mid-February, she suffered seizures as doctors unsuccessfully attempted to take her off the coma-inducing medication.

According to TMZ, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston has been moved to an undisclosed medical rehab facility in Georgia for “long-term care.”

New reports of drug use recently came to light when Steven Stepho -- a friend of the actress and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon -- alleged that the couple had spent thousands of dollars a day on drugs, and that he even “helped them get it sometimes.”
