Leolah Brown is speaking out amid rumors that her niece, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has awoken from her coma. The 22-year-old has been medically sedated since January 31, after being found face down in the bathtub inside her Georgia home. During that period there have been little to no significant changes in her condition - that is, until now.

Leolah took to Facebook to thank fans for their continued support throughout the last three months. She promised that their well-wishes would not soon be forgotten. She asked that they continue to send their positive energy her way, so that she may heal.

“FB friends, Thank YOU! All of you who show your love and concern for my niece Bobbi Kriss!!!” She wrote. “Those of you who continue your prayers and kind words; I have always told you and I sincerely mean it from the depths of my heart! Your prayers, love and concern will NEVER be forgotten by ME nor BOBBI KRISS! May God continue to use you as a vessel to spread light, love and kind words in such a time where it is needed.”

She also had a few choice words for "those who lust for Bobbi Kristina's money" and wish harm upon her. She warned fans not to listen to anyone who would "seek to benefit from her tragedy." Leolah Brown continued that she's tired of "evil" liars and that God will "destroy all of them who have first done what they did to my niece Bobbi Kristina."

On April 19 Bobby Brown told concert goers in Dallas, Texas his daughter was "watching" him, leading many to supect that Bobbi Kristina was out of her coma. Following his shocking announcement, sister Tina Brown shared a post on Facebook. The post further fueled speculation that Bobbi Kristina was responsive. Unfortunately it seems that is not the case.

Bobby's lawyer, Christopher Brown, released an official statement saying "there has been improvement" in Bobbi Kristina's condition, but never directly stating whether or not she was awake and alert. The statement added that the aspiring actress "will have a long life," although it is going to require a lot of rehabilitation and time.

"The quality of her life will not be known for years to come," he said in closing.

According to TMZ Bobby, who was forced to head back on tour with Treach and Kay-Gee of Naughty By Nature, has been spotted outside the DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia after making the misleading announcement. His daughter was moved from Emory University Hospital to this facility in March 2015 so that should could be monitored more closely and recieved the 'round the clock treatment she truly requires. Bobby was seen outside meeting with doctors where it was presumed they were discussing their next moves.

While the Brown family claims Bobbi Kristina is showing signs of improvement, the Houston's are telling a very different tale. According to her grandmother, Cissy Houston, this accident has caused "global and irreversible brain damage." Houston confirmed that her granddaughter is no longer in a medically induced coma, but said she remains unresponsive.

"Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me," she said. "We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time."

CNN reports similar information. The site's source claims Bobbi Kristina does not respond to familiar voices, her eyes are not following objects and she's had to have a tracheotomy. Their source did not indicate that the daughter of Grammy Award Winning artist Whitney Houston was on the mend.
