New details are emerging in the investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death. Nick Gordon, the estranged boyfriend of the late 22-year-old aspiring singer, is accused of physically abusing her. The details are mentioned in tweets by Kaitlyn Ross, a reporter for WXIA-TV in Atlanta.

Ross posted a series of updates Friday afternoon about the civil lawsuit targeting Gordon. Read them below:

Brown died July 26. She had been hospitalized since being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home Jan. 31. Brown’s conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, filed a lawsuit against Gordon in August. The suit claims Gordon was controlling, stole from Brown and contributed to her death.

This week, reports surfaced that Gordon’s legal team is prepared to fight the lawsuit filed by Hargrove. Us Weekly obtained court documents that claim that the civil suit paints Gordon unfairly. “Mr. Gordon will be unfairly, legally and financially prejudiced should he be subject to parallel criminal and civil proceedings,” the documents read.

Now, WXIA is reporting that new documents filed in the civil suit against Gordon claim that he “injected her with a toxic mixture after placing her unconscious in a bathtub.” He’s also accused of waging a “public relations war” with Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family -- which includes her father Bobby Brown and the family of her now-deceased mother, Whitney Houston -- as well as of receiving a $40,000 payout to be photographed at Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grave in New Jersey.
