Bobbi Kristina Brown’s long-term boyfriend Nick Gordon was spotted in Florida on Friday for the first time since leaving rehab, reports said. Gordon, who has not been allowed to visit Bobbi Kristina at the hospital yet, was seen wearing a grey t-shirt and black basketball shorts outside a suburban community, Us Weekly reported.

According to a report by Radar Online, Gordon has moved out of the house that he shared with Bobbi Kristina in Atlanta, and is currently living with his mother at her condominium in Sunshine State. Gordon, who reportedly had been heavily into drugs, had claimed that he stopped using heroin after Bobbi Kristina was discovered in the bathtub in January and attended the rehab to deal with his addiction to Xanax. Brown still lies unconscious in a coma at a rehab center in Atlanta.

A criminal investigation is ongoing to determine what caused Bobbi Kristina’s current state but the police have not yet charged anyone formally. However, Bobbi Kristina’s family suspect that Gordon may have been involved.

Ian Halperin, investigative journalist and author of the new controversial book, "Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame,” said Thursday, according to The Wrap, that he could get Gordon to meet Bobbi Kristina if he passes a polygraph test.

“If Nick Gordon agrees to take a polygraph and answers the questions about what happened that night, and if he passes the polygraph with a high accuracy rate, I know I can get him access to see Bobbi Kristina,” Halperin reportedly said, adding: “I’ve contacted this person, and they’ve agreed: If Gordon passes the polygraph and it all checks out, they’ve agreed to present it to Bobby Brown and to try to get him to let Nick Gordon see Bobbi Kristina, and I think that’s fair.”

However, people close to the 22-year-old aspiring singer were not supportive of the relationship between the couple, according to reports, citing Halperin's book.

“When I saw her before her accident she looked like she was on something. She looked like she got much thinner, looked like she was into heavy drugs,” a friend named Ella had reportedly told Halperin, adding: “I felt sad because I don’t think Nick (Gordon) had her best interests at heart.”

Another friend, a DJ, had said: “Nick is bad, bad news brother," adding: “He’s heavy into drinking, heavy into drugs. … I assure you it was Nick who took her down a dark path.”

Houston, who had reportedly adopted Gordon, was found dead in a bathtub in a hotel room at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, in 2012. The Los Angeles County coroner's office had said at the time that she died due to the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use."
