Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon's Fear Of Getting Dumped Likely 'Motive For Murder'

A possible murder motive in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s case was revealed by a police source Wednesday as hope for the recovery of 22-year-old fades. Investigators reportedly believe that “Nick Gordon’s motive for murder” may have been the fear of getting dumped by his girlfriend.

The news comes just days after Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend was served with a lawsuit accusing him of abusing and stealing money from the aspiring actress. In an interview with the National Enquirer, cited by Radar Online, the source said that authorities believe Gordon’s concern over his relationship with Bobbi Kristina could possibly be a motive for murder.

“If Bobbi Kristina left Nick, it would have destroyed everything he had. Nick was living a lie, telling the world he was Bobbi Kristina’s husband when in fact they were never married,” the source reportedly said. “On top of that, Nick was living off Bobbi Kristina’s money. Without her, he’d have nothing. There’s no question Nick didn’t want Bobbi Kristina to leave him. He may have never intended to kill her, but no doubt they argued.”

Since Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization in January, several witnesses have come forward and spoken about her troubled relationship with Gordon. Last month, Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon, accusing him of physically abusing the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and stealing her money.

Moreover, the day Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home, she was set to meet “someone” -- possibly close friend Sarah “Bess” Beckmann -- to discuss a “revelation” concerning Gordon, Radar Online reported. According to the lawsuit, Bobbi Kristina and Gordon reportedly had an argument prior to the Jan. 31 incident.

Also, three weeks before the tragic day, Bobbi Kristina had reportedly confided in her friend, Alex Reid, that she was scared of Gordon.

Gordon has not been allowed to meet Bobbi Kristina as the latter's family suspects him of foul play and alleges that he has not revealed all details about the incident.

Bobbi Kristina was moved to a hospice care last month after months of treatment at several facilities failed to improve her condition.
