By @ibtimes on

BoE minutes for February's rate decision showed that the voting of the nine panel members came at 5-3-1 as the majority opted to leave both interest rate and APF quantity unchanged while Andrew Sentance raised his call for an interest rate hike from 25 basis points to 50 basis points. Spencer Dale joined Martin Weale's second consecutive call for 25 basis points increase in the borrowing cost, referring that the trio asked for leaving the APF steady.

On the other hand, Adam Posen resumed his call for expanding the APF by 50 billion pounds to 250 billion pounds while keeping borrowing cost unchanged.
