BoE's policy makers said on Wednesday there are still no guidelines whether the bank will add more stimulus or not due to the heightened risks posed from the euro area debt crisis and squeeze in bank lending.

BoE Governer Mervyn King said we will take whatever action we think is appropriate and at that point, expectations will adjust, taking into consideration the main target of cutting deficit.

The bank, however, still expects a rebound in economic activities this year after the deceleration in the general prices level.
