According to the BoE Minutes today, the Monetary Policy Committee is still debating the next move for the bank.

The members split on rates remained 6-3 with the majority with King held the grounds against calls from Andrew Sentance which called for 50 bp increase and Spencer Dale and Martin Weale that opted a 25 bp increase in rates.

The majority see that the data from the economy over the past month had probably been to the downside which supported the split on the APF as Adam Posen still called for an APF increase.
