Whether you like him or not, everyone’s favorite 90s sitcom star is coming back. The first trailer for Netflix’s “BoJack Horseman” Season 2 dropped on Tuesday and it looks like the gang hasn’t changed one bit… except for BoJack (Will Arnett), of course.

Netflix released the trailer to promote the July 17 release of Season 2 of the hit animated comedy. In it, Arnett voices the horse/human hybrid (living in a world where talking animals and people live on equal social status) BoJack Horseman. In the 90s, he was a star on a family sitcom similar to “Full House.” When last we left him in Season 1, he’d decided to clean up his act just in time to land the biggest role of his life - the lead in the biopic about Secretariat.

The Season 2 trailer, below, opens with BoJack deciding that things are going to be different. He’s on a new health kick, he’s trying not to booze around anymore and he’s going to take his new movie-star status very seriously. Unfortunately, he’s still clearly BoJack, new healthy lifestyle not withstanding.

New things are coming for the former TV star in Season 2 as he tries to shake off his years in a schmaltzy sitcom and adapt to the drama of a biopic. Unfortunately, it looks like his first days on set aren’t going too well. Could he lose this major role after all? Meanwhile, after his crush on Diane Nguyen (Allison Brie) went so very awry in Season 1, it looks like BoJack has a new love interest in the form of an owl voiced by none other than “Friends” and “The Comeback” star Lisa Kudrow.

“I feel weird,” he tells her while laying in bed. “Like, I want to spend more time with you even though I know we just had sex.”

The trailer also features brief cameos from Season 1 alumns such as Diane, Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), Todd Chavez (Aaron Paul) and Mr. Peanutbutter (Paul F. Tompkins). According to Variety, all 12 episodes of “BoJack Horseman” Season 2 will be available to stream on July 17 in all territories where the popular streaming service is available.
