She has been considering taking the child she gave birth to back from her sister now that she has a chance of not having another baby of her own. Now, after serious consideration to how things should be, Nicole will make a decision about who will get to keep Lizzie on the Wednesday, June 28 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful."

After learning she was potentially infertile now due to scarring she suffered from carrying Lizzie, Nicole (Reign Edwards), under encouragement from her father, Julius (Obba Babatunde) took the fact that Lizzie's adoption papers were not in order to her advantage on the CBS soap. Stunning Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley), as well as Zende (Rome Flynn), she refused to sign the papers, and has been holding out ever since, genuinely worrying her sister that she was taking the little girl back.

Now, everything will come down to a tense moment, as Nicole and Julius are confronted by Maya, Rick, Zende and Vivienne (Anna Maria Horsford) to finally let the papers be signed and to end the tension between the sisters. However, before Nicole makes a decision, she will reiterate to everyone that a big part of what is giving her hesitation is that Lizzie called her mommy, and since she knows she is biologically the little girl's mother, and she may not be able to bring such another child into the world, that moment has made it impossible for her to do what everyone else feels is the right thing.

"I have never felt so much love on one moment," she cries in a preview clip.

Seeing how much pain his wife is in, Zende will pull her to the side and once again stress to her that they don't have to take Lizzie back in order to be parents themselves. While he did previously make it clear that he doesn't want to call Lizzie his daughter since she isn't, he also did so by once again telling Nicole that they would conceive one day. Now, he will change that tune, and reveal to her that they could do what his own parents did when it comes to having a baby.

"Maybe you were meant to adopt," he says.

With that, Nicole may make a decision. And while her father may be disappointed that once again Maya is getting something, and he doesn't quite approve, Nicole will decide to let Maya and Rick keep Lizzie. As they all prepare to celebrate and Nicole comes to grips with letting go of the potential shot at motherhood she currently had though, Julius will give everyone a somber warning that if Nicole wound up making the wrong decision, this day will be one they will all live to regret someday.

"I hope that no one in this room ever has a reason to regret this day," he says.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
