Steffy on "The Bold and the Beautiful"
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) seeks Bill’s (Don Diamont, not pictured) help in breaking up Thomas (Pierson Fode, not pictured) and Sally (Courtney Hope, not pictured) on the July 12, 2017 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” CBS

They were both shocked when they learned that Bill was behind the review which propelled Sally Spectra to steal designs from Forrester, and now, Steffy and Liam may decide to do what is best for Spectra, even though it won’t sit well with either of their families on the Thursday, May 11 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After getting confirmation from Jarrett (Andrew Collins) that his scathing review of Spectra’s preview was in fact written by Bill (Don Diamont), who wants the Spectra building so he can create a new skyscraper, Liam (Scott Clifton) told Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on the CBS soap. She in turn went to Thomas (Pierson Fode), and he informed Sally (Courtney Hope). Now, Bill’s plans may be on the line and it could be because of the moves the married couple made, though Steffy may wonder if it was in fact the right move to make, because Sally is her enemy.

“What my dad did was vindictive and selfish, and you know that Sally and Thomas had a right to know that,” Liam assures her in a preview clip.

Meanwhile, the two will still assume that there will be no success when it comes to stopping Bill’s plan, and will inform Forrester together that Spectra will likely no longer be a threat ever again, and that it could be before the end of the day when that is possible.

“Spectra is going to be out of business by the end of the day, and Bill Spencer is going to have his previous skyscraper built,” Steffy says.

Meanwhile, Liam has also informed Wyatt (Darin Brooks) that Steffy, Thomas, and now Sally, are all aware of what Bill did to try and get the building for himself, and Wyatt has realized that Liam learned the truth from Jarrett. Wanting to know why the writer possibly sold out his boss, Wyatt will call Jarrett in to demand answers, though Jarrett will simply remind the younger Spencer that he was just telling the truth.

“Why did you tell Liam that my dad wrote the review of Spectra’s preview?” Wyatt asks in the clip.

“Because he did,” Jarrett replies.

The big issue with Bill’s review is that it set the path for Sally to follow where she wound up stealing designs from Forrester. And though she is no longer facing criminal charges for the act, the civil damages have been greater, forcing the closure. But Thomas also believes in her, and knows she has the talent to succeed, and may be motivated to help her more than ever.

Though it still seems likely that everyone’s attempts to do the right thing won’t work however, they could all wind up being surprised. If Thomas finds a way to help Sally and convince her to fight for her fashion line, it will not only mean that she gets to stay in the Spectra building and Bill doesn’t get his skyscraper, but it could also mean that the competition to be the top fashion house in L.A. could once again become a tight contest.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
