"The Bold and the Beautiful"
Tensions continue to boil between Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) on the Aug. 16, 2017 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful."  CBS

They have become enemies over their shared love for the same man and contempt for one another, and now, as they deal with their new situation as reluctant roommates, tensions will continue to boil over for Sheila and Quinn on the Wednesday, Aug. 16 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful."

After Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) got into an epic showdown battle when Sheila dropped Eric's (John McCook) watch off at the Forrester estate, Sheila wound up with a concussion after Quinn threw a tablet at her head. After Sheila came to on the CBS soap and was determined to have a concussion, the doctor insisted she needed to be somewhere where she'd get constant supervision. Much to Quinn's dismay, Eric volunteered to let her stay at their home.

Now, that decision has led to some new arguments between Eric and Quinn, who have only recently reunited following her affair with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). As Quinn continues expressing concern that Sheila is going to be under their roof, Eric will promise her that it is only a temporary arrangement.

"When she gets better, I'll send her on her way," he says in a preview clip.

However, Quinn will still be wary of the other woman, especially because she knows about Sheila's ultimate goal. She knows Sheila told Eric of her affair with Ridge in the hopes it would split them up for good, and she also knows Sheila has her sights set on eventually winning Eric back and getting her portrait hung in the mansion.

Armed with her knowledge, Quinn will then pay Sheila a visit in her room, and warn her that she isn't going to be successful when it comes to whatever plans she has to get her out of Eric's life. However, Sheila will warn Quinn that she isn't going to back down, because she also feels she has a right to interfere, since she had been Eric's wife once too, well before Quinn was even in L.A., let alone in Eric's life the way she is.

"You think you're going to replace me?" Quinn says.

"I was Mrs. Eric Forrester long before you," Sheila replies.

Quinn will express disgust over Sheila's belief that she somehow has dibs on Eric because she was married to him before, before leaving the other woman alone. When Eric goes to visit her however, Sheila will decide to turn on the charm and once again play her reformed act, reminding Eric subtly that she has sworn she's changed, and that she wasn't sure anyone would ever give her another chance, though she's glad that Eric of all people was willing to do so.

"I can't imagine anyone taking me in after everything that I've done," she says in the clip.

However, while Eric will assure her that she is welcome to stay there as she recovers, she shouldn't expect that she'll be allowed to stay there longer, and he will also reiterate that she is to start no new drama with Quinn either. Of course, his warnings could have the opposite effect, and cause only more drama and concerns between the women as time goes on.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
