A suspicious package was spotted early Friday at Oprah Winfrey's television studio Harpo Productions Inc. but did not explode, the Chicago Sun Times reported.
The package - a dark-colored backpack with wires hanging out of it â€“ was found in a flowerbed at 6:20 a.m. outside the studio by a security guard, said JoAnn Taylor, a police News Affairs Officer, according to a report
The item did not explode and no one was hurt, the Sun Times noted Friday.
The police Bomb & Arson Unit was sent to the location but there were no further detail, according to the report.
The studio didnâ€™t have to be evacuated, the Times said. The officer did not immediately know if the package was had the capacity to explode, according to the report.
