Bones
Aubrey (John Boyd, left) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will team up with Booth (David Boreanaz, not pictured) sidelined in episode 9 of "Bones" Season 10. FOX

“Bones” added another member to the family in episode 8 with the birth of Sweets (John Francis Daley) and Daisy’s (Carla Gallo) new baby. However, the new baby will not be able to help Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) solve a new case in Season 10, episode 9, "The Mutilation of the Master Manipulator.”

According to a synopsis from SpoilerTV.com, the new case will focus on the murder of a college psychology professor. As the team digs into the case, they will discover that some questionable research methods, including some controversial experiments on his students, had left the professor with a lot of enemies with motives. Plus, with Booth forced to spend the episode in online traffic school, the case will only be in the hands of Brennan and Aubrey (John Boyd) who team up to find the killer.

Making things even more difficult, the promo for the new episode reveals that there will not be very many remains left for Brennan and the Jeffersonian team to analyze. The promo shows the team digging in trash cans for every little piece of the victim they can find to examine for clues.

Meanwhile, back at the Jeffersonian, fans will get an update on Wendell (Michael Grant Terry) in the new episode. Apparently, Brennan’s intern has developed some feelings for a chemotherapy nurse at the hospital where he receives his cancer treatments, and he will be struggling with what to do about it.
