Manchester, Tenn. -- Can't actually make it to Bonnaroo 2012 to take in all the action? Have no fear, a Dell-YouTube live stream partnership should have you covered for all of your musical desires.

Launching at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dell will be live streaming many of the biggest musical acts at Bonnaroo through a YouTube channel. You can find the live stream available here.

The live stream will run throughout the duration of the four-day music and arts festival and feature some of the world's biggest performers. Rather than bake in the hot Tennessee sun for a week, fans from around the world can watch headliners such as Phish and the Red Hot Chili Peppers from the comfort of their homes.

Watching a major band like Radiohead through your computer might not be quite the same as watching in person, but it allows people from all over the world to take in the magic of Bonnaroo.

We know that music is a major passion point for many of our customers, said Fara Howard, Dell's executive director of North America consumer marketing. What we wanted to do was take the experiential component and really amplify that music festival for people that couldn't be at the festival using our technology.

It's truly about the democratization of music - so that fans regardless of where they are can access this information.

Dell has previously partnered with YouTube to provide a live stream of the New Orleans JazzFest and will additionally be partnering to produce Lollapalooza. Howard said that the results from the JazzFest, in terms of unique visitors, far exceeded expectations and that some of that should carry over to Bonnaroo.

For YouTube, it's a natural fit to be in the live stream realm. It has also partnered with other companies, such as State Farm for Coachella, and will continue to be a major player in the festival business.

As a platform, YouTube is committed to bringing original content and unique music experiences to fans, artists, and festivals in a way that benefits the entire music ecosystem. said Robert Kyncl, global head of content for YouTube. This live streaming partnership is an exciting example of our commitment to music and YouTube is thrilled to join Dell in bringing four incredible festivals to the world's largest stage and a diversity of music to fans worldwide.
