Sharon Gaffney’s passion for design has motivated her to change the way her email looks. Her love of paper stationery collided with the reality that email was her foremost form of communication. And now, she has launched a bigger idea for all.

After scouring the web to find email templates that mimicked personalized stationery, Sharon found that no company was providing what she was looking for, so she and her husband, Ed Gaffney, decided to develop the concept themselves.

Their new online venture, MeebleMail.com, enables consumers to turn drab everyday email into stylish personalized stationery. It features a library of over 500 designs that appeal to a wide variety of tastes – from contemporary and sophisticated to whimsical. At $4.99 per design per year for unlimited use, they hope to offer personalization changes.

Each stationery design can be personalized with the user’s name, monogram, address and more – providing endless possibilities for users to completely customize their everyday email.

MeebleMail.com has also partnered with several charitable organizations including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, AmeriCares, the Wildlife Conservation Society and the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness and will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of each charity’s email stationery back to their cause.

The budget-friendly email stationery currently works with Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Windows Live/Hotmail easily inserting directly into users’ email.

“We’re thrilled to offer stylish designs that allow consumers to more fully express themselves through their email,” says Ed. While Ed focuses on the business side of the online venture, Sharon is the driving force behind the creative development.

While initially focused on women users, MeebleMail plans to add additional partners to offer designs that will appeal to both men and the youth market. MeebleMail.com will support Outlook, Apple, AOL and other email users in the near future, they said in a statement.
