The body of missing Oklahoma teen Brandon Roy Santino was found Wednesday morning with a gunshot wound, and authorities believe the 15-year-old killed himself.

Brandon was reported missing around 9 p.m. Tuesday from his home in Tecumseh, Okla., after his family did not find him in the house when they came back from a basketball game, Oklahoma City television station KFOR reported.

Brandon’s father said a pistol was also missing from the home, according to KOKH in Oklahoma City. The Tecumseh Police Department said they found Brandon’s body near the house around 10 a.m. Wednesday. There was no sign of forced entry or a struggle inside the home.

Police told KOKH that Brandon died from an apparent gunshot wound to the head that they believe was self-inflicted.

Brandon’s death is under investigation, and the Tecumseh Police Department will be talking to the 15-year-old’s classmates at Tecumseh High School.
