RTTNews - Wednesday, Brazil's statistical office IBGE announced that the national index of consumer price large, IPCA rose 0.36% month-on-month in June, slower than the 0.47% increase in the previous month. Economists' were looking for an increase of 0.31%.

Year-on-year, the IPCA increased 4.80% in June, compared to the 0.74% growth in a year ago. Economists' had expected an increase of 4.75%.

Meanwhile, the National Index of Consumer Prices or INPC rose 0.42% on a monthly basis in June, compared with a 0.60% increase in May.
