RTTNews - Tuesday, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva reportedly told the French daily Le Monde that the U. S. dollar will remain an important currency for decades. He noted that it is not a simple task to replace the dollar. However, Lula said his country will explore trade relations independent of the greenback. He holds the view that alternatives to the dollar are needed.
