Briana DeJesus wanted to put her daughter with ex Luis up for adoption on the latest episode of “Teen Mom 2.”

On the MTV installment, Briana has been considering to put her youngest daughter, Stella, up for adoption. However, her baby daddy is not on board. The “Teen Mom 2” star consulted a case worker about her adoption plans in the episode.

“I would like [an] open adoption or at least semi-open,” Briana, 23, told the case worker (via People). “Let’s say the father of this baby isn’t on board 110 percent. Will I still need him to be on board to proceed if I wanted to give this baby up for adoption?”

The case worker advised her to contact her baby daddy and that he would need to provide “physical and emotional support” to keep his parental rights. When Briana met Luis, she told him that he needed to agree or disagree with her petition within 30 days or he would lose his parental rights.

Luis did not like Briana’s move. When asked if he was annoyed, he admitted that he was. “I know you want to explore your options, but I think what is best for my child is for her to be with her parents. People work out all the time. Even through worse matters. Obviously, you know I don’t want to co-parent in the sense of us not being together. I want to be together,” Luis told Briana. “All of this adoption talk … honestly, it drives me nuts.”

Briana gave birth to her second daughter, Stella, on July 2, MTV reported. In May, she celebrated her 23rd birthday and baby shower at the same time.

“I’m glad I was able to spend my 23rd birthday celebrating my daughters baby shower and pulling this off! Thank you for everyone who came out of their way to make it special for me,” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel so huge and I am so uncomfortable in my skin but that only means that the time is coming! Stella, you will be loved and everybody can’t wait to meet you!”

Prior to Briana’s delivery, she revealed that she and Luis were trying to figure things out. However, it seemed that things didn’t work out for the two.

“We’ve been just trying to figure it out for the sake of this baby,” Briana told the producers in a clip of her special “The New Mom.” “Yeah, we want to move in together, we — hopefully, I would like to get married, all this grown up stuff. Cause I’m an adult, not 16 and pregnant.”
