WWE and reality-TV stars Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan have revealed the gender of their child. The couple has announced that they will be welcoming a baby girl into the world in the spring of 2017.

The news comes just two weeks after Brie made the announcement that she was pregnant. Bryan retired from wrestling in February, and Brie had her final match at WrestleMania 32 in April so she could focus on starting a family.

“When I found out it was a girl, I actually got really emotional,” Brie told E! News. “I have such an amazing relationship with my mom and I think, wow, I'm going to have that with my daughter. Also, as a woman, I now have my own blood to follow my legacy. It's such a special feeling — my mini me!”

“I'm so excited we're having a little girl,” Bryan told E! News. “I'm sure that, just like her mother, she's going to steal my heart.”

On Wednesday, Brie teased the gender reveal on Instagram. The couple has been married since 2014, and they are expecting their first child.

Brie is no longer a wrestler, but she currently stars on “Total Bellas” on E!, alongside sister and WWE superstar Nikki Bella. Bryan also plays a prominent role on the show, which was filmed shortly after he retired and in the final months of Brie’s wrestling career.

Brie has entertained the idea of an eventual return to the ring, though it won’t be coming anytime soon. Bryan was forced to retire because of his history with concussions, but he remains a mainstay on WWE TV as the general manager of “SmackDown Live.”
