Britney Spears tweeted a picture of herself from her fragrance shoot on Friday in which she was dressed like the original blonde bombshell, Jean Harlow.

Swathed in a gold jewel-encrusted mini with a plunging neckline, Spears looked like she was playing dress-up rather than channeling the tantalizing Harlow. She donned a headdress festooned with similar gems that covered her platinum blonde locks, tons of eyeliner, along with Harlow's signature kewpie doll scarlet pout.

"loving day two of my Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist fragrance shoot." wrote Spears, adding that fiance Jason Trawick approves of the revealing costume. He said I look "like Jean Harlow!"

Born Harlean Carpenter, March 3, 1911 in Kansas City, Mo., Jean Harlow, died at just 26 years old. But the actress made an indelible mark in Hollywood during her 10-year movie career, starring in 36 films. She was inducted into the American Film Institute's list of the "Greatest American Screen Legends," and became the first female actress to be featured on the cover of Life magazine.

Spears is no stranger to playing dress up, she broke into the music scene with the 1998 music video "...Baby One More Time" - clad in a naughty school girl uniform and equally suggestive pigtails.

When she married Kevin Federline in 2004, Spears gave members of her bridal party custom-made Juicy Couture sweat suits etched with the words "The Maids" and "Pimp Daddy."
