Britney Spears released a new video on YouTube announcing that her Femme Fatale tour would be going to South America. She began the video apologizing because her Circus Tour did not make it to the South. Now, about 12 dates will be added to the tour to visit cities including Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in the fall.

Another addition to the Femme Fatale tour is none other than DJ Pauly D from "Jersey Shore." He will be joining Spears beginning Aug. 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be ending on Aug. 25 in Charlotte, South Carolina. "I am so excited to be performing on the Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour," DJ Pauly D said. "Britney is one of my favorite performers and certainly one of this generation's most influential artists. It's an amazing platform to connect with my fans around the country." Former opening acts for Britney Spears have included Jessie and the Toy Boys, Nicki Minaj, and Nervo. DJ Pauly D is definitely looking forward to his time in limelight with Spears. "I love it. I couldn't ask for more."

Also, the twenty-eight-time nominee of the VMA awards was recently nominated for two more. Hopefully, she will add to her four wins with awards in "Best Pop Video" and "Best Choreography." Spears was very excited to hear about her nominations and is not too concerned on whether or not she will go home with the prizes. "I grew up listening to MTV. It's just such an iconic thing to be able to participate in," Spears said. "To even be presented an award is just so flattering and I'm honored. I'm excited."

Spears has had a successful year. Her seventh studio album reached #1 on the Billboard charts and her summer tour has been going very well. Despite years of recognition and hits, Spears claims VMA noms are treated newly each time: "Oh no, you never get used to that!" she said.
