Brooke Hogan, the 25-year-old daughter of wrestler Hulk Hogan, announced her engagement to NFL star Phil Costa on social media this weekend. While many fans of the former "Hogan Knows Best" and spin-off "Brooke Knows Best" VH1 star were offering congratulations, others questioned what happened to the inspiring singer's former fiancé, pro-wrestler Bully Ray.

Hogan announced her engagement to Dallas Cowboy player Costa, 25, on her Instagram page Saturday. According to Us Weekly, Hogan was surprised by her boyfriend-now-fiancé while on vacation in Las Vegas. The TV star not only shared photos from the special event but also details on the engagement.

"Happiest moment of my life," Hogan wrote. "I am marrying my best friend. I would choose anyone else. I am so lucky and grateful." Linda Hogan, mother of the soon-to-be bride, also shared her thoughts about the recent proposal online. "So excited to welcome my future son-in-law to our family. Congratulations, Phil and Brooke!" Hogan posted on Twitter Sunday night.

While fans of the star offered their congratulations, many questioned what happened to her relationship with 41-year-old pro-wrestler Bully Ray, also known as Mark LoManaco. The duo, which aired their proposal, engagement and wedding for Spike TV's "Impact Wrestling" earlier this year, ended their relationship in April after Hogan requested a divorce. "He's a psycho. He's completely twisted. I basically married the damn devil," Hogan told camera crews, accusing the wrestler of using her family's fame. "He's just a sick little twisted bastard," she said.

Despite many deeming the on-air proposal and subsequent wedding fake, Hogan claimed the whirlwind three-month love affair was authentic. "We're getting married. It's legitimate. It happened really, really fast," Hogan told KISS FM. "It's actually shocking everybody. It's coming out of nowhere. It even is shocking me ... when you know, you know."
