Ever since revealing his plans to transition from a man to a woman, many are wondering when Bruce Jenner will show the world his female persona. Now, that question is answered, as the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star will be photographed as a woman for an upcoming cover in Vanity Fair.

According to People, famed photographer Annie Leibovitz will shoot Bruce as a woman for an issue of the magazine set for release sometime this summer. The photographer is responsible for cover shoots for celebrities such as Michael Jackson, George Clooney, Queen Elizabeth, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga and more.

Jenner first announced that he’s planning the long transition from a man to a woman during a tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 in April. Since then, Jenner has received an outpouring of support from friends, family and fans. Us Weekly notes a touching moment with his daughter Kylie.

Most of his family shared their support for Bruce’s decision, but his ex wife, Kris Jenner, is having difficulty accepting his decision. She was married to Bruce for several years while he carried this big secret, which she confessed made her question the reality of the entire marriage.

“I’m trying so hard to process my pain,” she told E!'s cameras on the special television event, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce.”

Meanwhile, her daughter Kim Kardashian has already seen her stepfather's female persona and found the new person remarkably normal for her.

"She was dressed up, beautiful makeup, beautiful hair, very, very beautiful and very comfortable," Kardashian told US Weekly.

While Bruce will appear as a woman on the upcoming Vanity Fair cover, he’s not going to be completely finished with his transition by that time. During the TV special, he confessed that he’s in no rush to receive the surgery that would remove his male genitalia. So far, Bruce has not revealed his female persona to the public and simply calls his new identity “Her.” Previously, he told his daughters that he wants to be finished with the transition by the spring, but now it seems he’s ready to reveal Her to the public.

“That’s kind of the last thing you can do,” Jenner told his family about his surgery. “You can do an awful lot before then.”

Previously, Yahoo Celebrity quoted Jenner saying that he would not make the transition surgery a part of the E! docuseries. He argued that there’s no rush to get the surgery done and that he finds it “degrading” to have cameras around. However, even though the surgery is not yet done, Jenner self identifies as a woman and is finally ready to debut his true identity to the world.
