Bruno Mars has just released “Locked Out Of Heaven” as the lead single from his sophomore album "Unorthodox Jukebox," which is to hit stores Dec. 11 from Atlantic Records, MTV reported.

If the rest of Mars' songs are like his newest single that debuted Monday, he’s definitely not going to hit the “sophomore” slump that sometimes plagues artists who become famous after their first album.

Mars worked with the songwriting-production team of Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine to produce his latest songs, MTV said.

The new song has an upbeat, groovy tune that is sure to get people bobbing their heads. Of course Mars’ vocals are amazing and the chorus is catchy.

When Mars was asked by a fan for his favorite track on "Unorthodox Jukebox" MTV said he poetically replied:

"But swimming in your water is something spiritual," he teased and then later explained that the songs are basically about being in love, "sensual, sensual and sensual."
