MTV’s “Buckwild” star Shain Gandee, of West Virginia, has been found dead after he and his uncle were reported missing to authorities on Monday, multiple reports said.

The 21-year-old reality star was last seen around 3 a.m. on Sunday at Larry's Bar in Sissonville with his uncle, David Gandee, 48, the Charleston Daily Mail reports.

TMZ has reported that Gandee was found dead in his Ford Bronco along with two other bodies. Us Weekly said one of the bodies was that of his uncle; the name of the other individual hasn't yet been released.

Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said in a statement that the two men were going off-roading in Gandee's Ford Bronco after leaving the bar on Sunday, but it is unclear where they planned to go.

Authorities initially said they don't expect foul play.

In a statement, MTV said, "We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."

The reality show has received criticism because of its negative portrayal of West Virginia youth. MTV announced in February that “Buckwild” will be picked up for a second season.
