A “Bull”-less Tuesday is a sad Tuesday.

The CBS drama, which is normally broadcast on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST, will not air tonight and won’t return until next Tuesday, Dec. 5, though not with a new episode.

Instead, the show’s Season 2 premiere will air that night, with the next new broadcast of the series not arriving until the following week on Dec. 12.

The episode is titled “Home for the Holidays” and will take place around the holiday season.

“As Christmas approaches, Bull (Michael Weatherly) is amused when he meets a 9-year-old girl (Annabelle Wachtel) who wants to hire him to help her divorce her parents, but he’s shocked when a judge appoints him her temporary guardian,” the synopsis reveals. “Also, Marissa (Geneva Carr) discovers disturbing information about her boyfriend, Kyle (Gary Wilmes).”

This upsetting news about Kyle comes after the last new episode of the series found Marissa’s credit cards maxed out and her boyfriend out of the country, making him the prime suspect. Also, his behavior around her has always been fairly sketchy and he had all the characteristics of a con artist. It seems the truth of it all will finally come out in the next episode.

While fans of Weatherly’s new show are sure to be disappointed that it’s not on tonight, there are still plenty of fun things to watch on the network.

The 1964 animated TV special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” will air on CBS at 8 p.m EST and is the perfect option for those looking to get in the holiday spirit with a Christmas classic.

At 9 p.m. EST, during the usual slot for “Bull,” a repeat episode of action-drama “NCIS” will play. Then, starting at 10 p.m. EST, the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was filmed in China this year, will be broadcast on the network.

CBS shares that viewers can expect to see “fashion, fantasy and entertainment” in the form of “pink carpet interviews, model profiles, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show and musical performances.”

“Bull” was likely put on hold this week to ensure that the main focus of the night when to the premiere of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show special.

Get ready, though, because “Bull” returns to CBS with new episodes on Dec. 12 at 9 p.m. EST.
